To you bystanders, you have the most power in a bullying situation, so what are you going to do about it? None of you should just stand there and observe a bullying situation. 'Step up, so others wont get stepped on.'
To you victims, suicide is not a permanent solution to a temporary problem.
"Every child deserves to live life to the fullest." - Brenda High
And finally, to you bullies... what good do you gain from destroying an innocent souls life other than the pleasure of your amusement? Bullying is cruel, so dont act like a fool.

There is only one race, the human race
This beautiful girl has been affected by racist bullying all becuase she's black and she lives in manchester where there are plenty of white people around but hardly any blacks. Racism doesn't necessarily have to be against blacks; anyone can be affected by racism. If your from a different race or religion, your likely to get bullied by those that arent the same race or religion as you. Those that are against people of other races or religions think that there is only one race their race, or maybe they just have hatred towards all people of different cultures. Racism is one that mostly affects people personally, the bullies use harsh words and comments to hurt you. This girl made the right decision to tell an adult, she is now happily engaging with those that once bullied her, because of her bravery and confidance to tell an adult, she is now happy and smiling.

Verbal Bullying
Its true what they say, pictures do speak louder than words; but in this case words can be used in the same way to effectively make a person unstable mentally aswell as physically. They're being beaten down with words about how they're fat, ugly, or a sket etc. No-one has the rights to beat down others with their insecurities or they're worst features, nobodys perfect and thats been established many times, just because your calling someone ugly, it doesn't make you any prettier.
Physical Bullying
Many have been affected by physical bullying, some even have bruises on their body. If anyone reading this has been or still is affected by this type of bullying and you have or had bruises, im sure that you probably make up excuses as to where they came from. Just because you have bruises on your body doesnt mean your a coward or you cant fight, infact your the brave one for having to put up with it all and not saying a word to no one. Because of your low self-esteem you begin to ask yourself; 'Whats wrong with me? Why do I have to be the one that gets bullied...' There is nothing wrong with you, there's just something wrong with those that attack you. Believe in yourself.

Here to Help
Dont be afraid to tell someone about your situation. You're probably thinking 'you have no idea what I'm going through, I cant tell anyone because they've been threatening me...' Its true, I have no idea what your going through, to be honest I havent really been bullied but its still a similar situation, when I first came to this country, it was hard for me not knowing much english, having to sit in class trying to make some friends, sometimes lonely at break times. I soon overcame that, I know that its nothing compared to what you all must be going through but there's always a past for everyone. I guess I made a mistake not telling my teachers or my parents. I was kind of embaressed, I dont know why. The psychology is weird but for some reason, it is embaressing to tell anyone that you're being bullied or some children are picking on you. I was young at the time and I still had my whole years ahead of me, so I didnt let that bother me. Dont think its all over for you, God has plans and he wont let no one change that. Be strong, be brave, be confident. Make the right decisions...

Take a stand. Lend a hand
Some things that I often notice is bystanders. Standing by and watching somebody getting bullied at school or maybe even outside school either physically or verbally, but sometimes it is understandable how people wouldnt want to get involved or snitch on the bullies because it could lead to them getting bullied or severly hurt in some cases; but you can tell someone... tell a guidance counselor at your school. Tell them you want to keep a low profile, you dont want nobody knowing that your were the one that snitched on the bullys. No harm could be done as long as you werent standing by and watching. Its better knowing that you helped someone in need than having a guilty feeling on your conscience knowing that you could've done something but you chose not to, the title simply says it all. 'Take a stand. Lend a hand.'
However, there are those particular bystanders that stand by and watch the victims getting bullied, infact some of them even provoke, cheer on the bullies to carry on. They think its funny seeing someone get beat down, or seeing someone cry. Only they'd know whats going through they're minds, getting beat down by words and laughters of everyone watching, it just makes the victim feel so much worthless and it makes them build up a low self-esteem for themself.
